Glenmary is located 1 mile south of the Snyder Freeway, south of the Louisville, KY suburb of Fern Creek. Glenmary is a deed restricted subdivision managed by a homeowners association board of directors. This residential development features custom built homes ranging in price from $200,000 to $800,000. Some lots are still avaialable.

Glenmary is in the Bates Elementary, Newburg Middle School, and Fern Creek High School district.

The subdivision is built around the 18-hole golf course of Glenmary Country Club.
